The PVMet™ 75 is a compact and lightweight solar monitoring station featuring a Global or Plane-of-Array Irradiance Sensor, one or two Back-of-Panel Temperature Sensor(s), and an Ambient Air Temperature Sensor. Sensors & Options

Global Irradiance or Plane-of-Array Irradiance

Choose between a RainWise Global or Plane-of Array Irradiance Sensor. The RainWise made sensor can be mounted on top of the PVMet 75 for global mode, or it can be mounted to match the PV panel angle with the included bracket for plane-of-array mode. The irradiance sensor comes with 25ft of cable for mounting options.

Back-of-Module Temperature

These sensors are attached to the back of the PV panel using thermal conductive adhesive tape. They provide accurate panel temperatures, an important parameter for efficiency monitoring. One sensor is shipped with each system. The PVMet 75 supports two sensors. The second may be purchased separately.

Ambient Air Temperature

The ambient air temperature sensor is housed in a passive solar shield for increased accuracy.
